Meet SUBHASHCHANDRA B. MEHTA

He has deep aptitude for teaching and this has led him to join as lecturer in Physics dept. at Sir P.P.Institute of Science a science college of Bhavnagar University. From 1975 till to-date he has demonstrated that with self-motivation and without expecting any type of reward a single man can reach to height of popularity among students and public.  

He is versatile in real sense. A scientific assistant, he remain a trainer to the teacher when new pattern of education, teaching in school came in 1976, a Key Resource Person for Teacher’Training Programme in Science, worked as expert in “Science Fair” at Secondary School of Bhavnagar District and Western India Science Fair for many years.

He has arranged “Science Shows” to educate students in the Schools. Resource person and lecture at IAS Examination Training Center of Bhavnagar University. An excellent experimentalist and Lecturer in physics at Science College, Counsellor in National Open University (IGNOU) And Regional Open University (BAGOU) In short he rendered an excellent service at school and at university level.  

He is also an astronomer, an astrologer, yoga expert, doctor of Naturopathy, and an acupressure and Sujok therapy expert. He is connected with many institutions of above fields and also gets meritorious certificate and rewards and awards from them. 

Since last ten years he has taken up single handedly the task of popularizing science, particularly astronomical occurrence like solar and lunar eclipses, gazing of comet, meteorites, conjunction of planets etc. He has given more than 100 lectures and arranged live show in public place to gaze them. As well as slide and transparency show at schools to educate students as well as people to remove certain common superstition about astronomical events. He has also the distinction of being invited to give talks on All India Radio, Rajkot in the past on diverse topics like solar energy, meteorology, and Nobel Prize institutor, Dr C.V.Raman etc. He is also a profile science writer in Gujarati and number of articles published in Local News Paper and magazines to educate the people. 

He is also a very good astrologer. He delivered nearly 100 lectures on different topics on astrology and its scientific nature and basic astronomy remains behind this shastra. He has published nearly 50 articles in different Magazines and Annual Panchang. 

Since last ten years he spent his spare time to popularize science, astronomy, astrology, Yoga, Naturopathy, acupressure, scientific, social and religious aspect of “puran Kathas” of our ancient Sanskrit literature to student as well as people. 

He says that astronomy, astrology, Yoga, Health, Theosophy etc shastra are our own ancient heritage .We taught these shastra to western word. It is our own .We have to preserve this heritage at any cost. 

People and students of school-collages must take interest, know them, learn this shastra, develops scientific temperaments and outlook, for that he is working in his spare time single handed without expecting any type of rewards since many years
